Welcome to the United States Army Warrant Officers Association
Crater Silver Chapter ...
The Crater Silver Chapter
The Crater Chapter consists of USAWOA members in the
Eastern Region of Virginia and those who are "at-large" throughout
the United States. The chapter adheres to the USAWOA principles of
"Professionalism, Representation, and Recognition" for the benefit of
active Army, National Guard, Army Reserve, and retired Army Warrant Officers
who work/reside in the Fort Gregg-Adams/Petersburg Virginia area.
The Crater Chapter meets at the Warrant Officers Hut The Hut (Apt E, Bldg 10000) C Ave. on Fort Gregg-Adams.
Please view our Chapter "Events" web page for specific
information on Chapter meetings. The chapter also participates in
Warrant Officer Professional Development (WOPD) Seminars, Community Service
Projects, and hosts specific events (check the chapter calendar for specific
dates).
Mission Statement
Provide a forum for continued professional development for
Chapter Warrant Officers while fostering an environment to mentor new Warrant
Officers. Provide a foundation for Camradeship
and 'Espirit de Corps' amongst Chapter Warrant
Officers. Serve as active participants in the community by providing
volunteer services and financial assistance where needed.
Crater Chapter History
An unofficial association of local Warrant Officers at Fort
Gregg-Adams has been meeting and supporting the community since 1969 as authorized by
the Commandant of the Quartermaster Center and School. In 1974, Chapter
President CW3 (Ret) R. M. Williamson, Jr., requested official recognition from
the United States Army Warrant Officers Association and the Crater Chapter was
chartered.
